Kokusai Senshu Tokukai Board of Directors

Following a childhood fascination with both eastern and western martial arts Soke-Dai R.D. Lawrence began his martial art study around the 1972/1973 school year.  Jim "Zorra" Musser began his instruction in Jujutsu and Kempo Karate in a very "Mr. Miyagi" method. 

    Soke-Dai R.D. Lawrence has studied with many world class champions and masters in diverse systems and styles, including Aikido, Aikijutsu, Arnis, Chu Fen Do, Escrima, Hapkido, Jeet Kune Do (concepts), Judo, Kali, Kick Boxing, Lima Lama, Muay Thai, Sambo, Savate, Tae Kwon Do, and Tai Chi Chuan. 

    Later Soke-Dai R.D. Lawrence began to concentrate his martial art studies under the guidance of Tom Manson, Soke of Tokoshikan Bujutsu. He has subsequently been appointed as Soke Dai of Tokoshikan Bujutsu. 

Soke-Dai R.D. Lawrence still practices and hold ranks in;

Aikijitsu, 3^rd Dan

Jujutsu, 6^th Dan

Tokoshikan Bujutsu, 9^th Dan  

Soke-Dai Lawrence is a very humble and modest man who lives the true path of Bushido. This resume doesn’t even scratch the surface of what this great man has accomplished. I had a difficult time getting him to mention any of his vast awards and martial arts accomplishments. Soke-Dai Lawrence has been recognized by various organizations National Martial Arts Instructor Association, Aikia, World Martial Art Group, etc. and he has received dozens of service awards from such, but he would rather not mention them.  He is a former police training officer, but he states all that is in the past.  He has also received dozens of awards from various groups, boy scouts of America, lions club, and churches.  He is also an executive officer for a non profit organization Love Covenant Ministries. We are extremely proud to have Soke-Dai Lawrence on our board of directors for the Kokusai Senshu Tokukai.
